Workflow audit
$2,500fixed fee
Understand one workflow before investing in a build. Keep the plan whether or not we build it together.
- One workflow and its main bottlenecks
- Recommended changes, risks, and priorities
- A written implementation scope and budget
Focused implementation
$7,500starting from
Replace one manual workflow with a working system. If the scope is clear, we can start here.
- One defined workflow or focused tool
- Testing, documentation, and handover
- A fixed quote before work begins
Ongoing care
$1,500per month, starting from
Keep an agreed system maintained as your team uses it. Choose a support plan after the build.
- A defined system and monthly priorities
- Up to five hours across checks, support, and improvements
- An agreed response window and monthly review
An audit is optional when the scope is already clear. If we need one, it is a separate engagement with a plan you can keep. The starting build price covers one narrowly defined workflow; larger systems are scoped individually. Ongoing care is optional.
A smaller first step / Focused working session
One question.
A practical answer.
$400 / fixed session
Choose between tools, review a proposed architecture, or work through a specific workflow question with Chris. A 90-minute session, plus up to 30 minutes of preparation and written next steps. Two hours of work in total.
We'll agree on one question and the material to review before booking. You leave with a recommendation, the tradeoffs, and any open questions that need further investigation. Implementation and open-ended troubleshooting are separate.
No build or retainer commitment. If the question needs deeper investigation, we'll agree on the scope and fee first. Additional advisory work is $200/hour with an agreed spending cap.

Three questions for a rough implementation range. You can check the budget before a conversation. The written proposal confirms the scope and price.
The details
Before we start.
Do I need an audit before you can build?
Only when we need to understand the workflow, data, or exceptions before quoting responsibly. If you already have a clear scope, we can go straight to an implementation proposal. A focused working session may be enough for one technical decision.
Is the audit included in the implementation price?
No. When needed, the audit is a separate $2,500 engagement. It covers one workflow, its bottlenecks and constraints, and a written recommendation with an implementation scope and budget. You can stop there and keep the plan. A build starts at $7,500; an audit followed by a starting-scope build therefore begins at $10,000 in total, before software costs.
What does the starting build price cover?
One narrow workflow or focused tool with agreed acceptance criteria, testing, documentation, and handover. For example, a repeatable intake-and-routing process using an existing data source. Multiple integrations, historical data migration, sensitive data, and larger interfaces need their own scope. The budget guide is a planning aid; the written proposal sets the price.
What happens if the scope changes?
We discuss the change, its effect on cost and timing, and your options before adding the work. The written proposal sets out the deliverables, acceptance criteria, payment milestones, and responsibilities.
What does ongoing care cover?
Care is optional and covers a defined system. The starting plan includes up to five hours a month across agreed checks, support, improvements, and the monthly review. Before you commit, we define the response window, priorities, how unused hours are handled, and any additional-work rates. It does not include unlimited development or round-the-clock incident response.
Do we have to use AI?
No. We start with the process. A clearer workflow, a direct integration, or a small internal tool may be the right answer.
